Margaret Gillespie, Parish Administrator

Margaret has been St. John's Parish Administrator since 2013. She holds a BA in Religion from Swarthmore College and a Masters of Theological Studies from Harvard Divinity School. She has been involved in Christian Formation and liturgical ministries in her years as a parishioner at St. John's. The office hours are Monday through Thursday from 9:00 am until 1:00 pm.


Jacob Greenberg, Sexton

Jacob has been a member of St. John’s for 16 years. He was an active member of the youth program and now serves as a church school teacher, member of the choir, and tech minister when he is not working as our sexton taking care of our physical plant.


Burt Carrasquero, Organist and Choir Director

Burt possesses an undergraduate Music degree with honors in Piano Performance from Jacksonville University as well as 2 additional BAs in German and Economics (all with honors). Burt started graduate work in Music at Hochshule fuer Dartellende Kunst “Mozarteum” in Salzburg Austria (one of the top music schools in the world) and completed his Masters’ Degree at NYC’s prestigious Columbia University’s Graduate School of Business. In his early music career, Burt (who was 16) won a spot to play (a solo concerto) with the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra while still a junior in High School. Burt was also the Grand Prize winner of the (Steinway’s) First Coast Classical Piano Competition (Florida ‘90) as well as the Florida Music Teachers’ Statewide competition (’91). Burt has played various major concerts both in his native Florida (Friday Musicale in ’92 and ’94 among other large venues) and throughout Europe most importantly major professional performances at 1) the Baden Hall (’91) in Karlovy Vary, Czech Republic, 2) Leopoldskron Castle (’92 and ’93) in Salzburg and 3) Castle Klessheim (also in Salzburg) among others in Germany, Austria and Holland. Burt has been playing professional organ in the NYC area for 24 years and boasts a (fairly) large repertoire of German and French Baroque Sacred Music for which he has a deep passion.
